CitiDem: Citizens’ Action for Democracy

CitiDem develops from the cooperation of 12 partner organisations working on democracy and participation issues. The project aims to enhance citizen engagement through the organisation of several events and Citizen Assemblies in eight EU Member States. It strengthens civil society organizations' capacity to inform and involve citizens, while equipping individuals with the tools and knowledge to actively participate in democratic processes. This encourages greater motivation for collective action and civic participation.

Our partners for this project are nine civil society organisations and two universities based in different EU Member States:

  • ALMA MATER STUDIORUM – University of Bologna, Italy
  • Prosvasi, Greece
  • Natura Comune, Italy
  • Alternatives Europeennes Association, France
  • FCPDP Forum dos Cidadaos Associacao, Portugal
  • Mirovni Istitut, Slovenia
  • European Alternatives Berlin e.V., Germany
  • University of Maastricht, Netherlands
  • EUMANS, Italy
  • Stand Up for Europe, Belgium
  • Alliance4Europe GGMBH, Germany
