Lorenza De Luna
Lorenza De Luna studied International Studies at Leiden University and Applied Human Rights at the Vienna Angewandte University with a specialisation in child rights and transitional justice. Before joining Democracy International, she engaged in several projects on the issues such as for the UN GSCDL, Human Rights Space and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a realistic vision of an inclusive and just society.
She has expertise in developing and managing participatory tools and projects, as well as in organising workshops and artistic events. She is experienced in inter-cultural communication and cooperation.
Responsibilities:
- Management and coordination of EU projects and organisation of events in the format of Citizens’ Assemblies, with artistic components
- Ideation and design of project proposals at the EU and global level.
- Building alliances with CSOs, local and international Institutes, and public entity representatives for project cooperation.
